The Insightful Blue Moon
On July 31, 2015 at 6:43 am, Eastern Standard Time, there will be a Blue Moon. No the moon will not appear blue. It will be the second Full Moon of the month; the first was on July 1. It is the last Blue Moon until January, 2018. Most blue moons happen about once every two-and-a –half years.
From a scientific perspective we have the second Full moon, from a Magickal perspective, we have the opportunity to manifest our desires, and goals. This Insightful/ Visionary Full Moon is a great moon to meditate and focus on what you want to achieve.
The Blue Moon is an exceptional time to perform Magickal Workings in general and this one particularly has great influence over the areas of prophecy and divination. It is a wonderful time to focus on what you desire to manifest, and divine the best paths to achieving your goals.
The Blue Moon Energies also can be beneficial for Magickal Workings related to Power, Wisdom, Knowledge, Protection, Passion, Love, Abundance, Finances, and Healing.
It is an auspicious time to add strength or power to areas you have already been working on.
This Blue Moon is falling, in Western/ Tropical Astrology, 7 degrees Aquarius and in Vedic/ Sidereal Astrology, 15 degrees Capricorn.
This Insightful/ Visionary full moon is a great time to come up with new ideas, bring new ideas to life, or fruition or to finish up on new projects that you have been working on. For those of us who are procrastinators it is the perfect time to get those things done that have been on the back burner. It is perfect time to innovate, whip things up, dream up ideas, and dream in general.
